Ask for help

You have already spoken with your child’s teacher. It’s not helping enough. School Counselors were unable to help. It’s time to request an evaluation.

FAPE- What is it?

All children are legally entitled to a free and appropriate public education. Depending on your child’s unique needs, this may mean they need special education services to have equal access to the same curriculum as their peers. They may need speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or emotional/behavioral support to have that equal access. If they qualify for these services, your child will be offered an IEP or 504 plan.
